I have long admired the work of Switch180 and the tireless efforts of Dan and his team to improve the lives of young people. I consider myself very lucky to have been introduced to skiing at a young age with both the sport and the mountain environment having had a huge influence on my life. Switch180 transforms young people’s lives though the learning of these challenging but incredibly rewarding sports, and I find this inspiring. This is why I support Switch180 as a Trustee, bringing my business and ski industry experience to contribute to the governance and work of the Board of Trustees

I have been a Trustee of Switch180 since it was established in 2003. Having grown up on a council estate in the very neighbourhood where the charity’s first programme was deployed, I instinctively connected with its mission to help those most vulnerable avoid the negative life pathways that open up in front of them. Being able to use my professional marketing experience to assist the continued development of Switch180 through the role of Trustee is extremely fulfilling. I look forward to contributing to further positive change for more young people across the UK in the coming years.

They nurture, encourage, inspire and guide young people to achieve their ambitions or to find ambitions they didn’t know they could have or were capable of.
